The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time world boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, consistently making huge paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
